Despite the challenges of being an orphan, impoverished, missing classes due to unpaid school fees many of our high school students who are Orphans Guardian Angel (OGA) beneficiaries pass with flying colors.
Unfortunately only one of our recent graduates is in college and even he is struggling to pay his tuition. The rest are at home and back on the streets because OGA is limited financially to support their educational needs in college.
When I met these students last June I was very excited, but not for long because I knew it was going to be even harder to counsel these children because I had told them good grades will qualify them for college. I feel we have failed them by not having a plan to keep them in college. OGA supports orphans who are in primary and in high school. Three recent OGA beneficiaries are the only students who made it from this poor rural high school.
I am personally reaching out to you to adopt the students (be personally involved in these students education) or financially support our $10,000 boost for our income generating projects: piggery and poultry that are currently sustaining 300 orphans in rural Zimbabwe.
OGA continues to work tirelessly on a Vocational Training center that will benefit some of our 300 beneficiaries and others from different communities. Your financial support will be appreciated.
Thank you to those who have prayed, encouraged and financially supported our cause of providing educational needs to the orphans and the poor.
