Last year, Precious Kids Center had the opportunity to be featured on Buck4Good and God in his perfect timing provided us the funds to continue another year. We are blessed and grateful for another opportunity to raise support for the center this year.
Precious Kids Center is a children’s home located in Kitale, Kenya that serves children a wide range of disabilities. We serve children with a wide variety of disabilities including: Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Epilepsy, Hydrocephalus as well as those with physical disabilities as well. In the past year, God has blessed us with ten more children and expanded our family to a total of thirty precious little ones. Kenyan culture makes life difficult for these children and many are neglected and hidden away instead of being accepted and embraced for who they are. Many children at the center have been abandoned, neglected and abused simply because they were born with a disability, others come from loving homes where their parents simply do not have the knowledge or resources to be able to provide them with proper care.
Our goal at Precious Kids Center is to pour out the love that God has shown us into the lives of these children. It is a blessing to be a part of their lives and watch them improve and thrive in an environment where their needs are met and they are loved just as they are. Precious Kids center provides these children with a roof over their heads, proper nutrition and medical care, education and most of all a family that is proud of them. It is our greatest joy to see how God works in these children’s lives as we celebrate with them as they make huge victories that others may view as only little improvements and to embrace them for who they are as a family.
The funds donated will help us to continue to provide these services to the children that Precious Kids Center serves. Last year Precious Kids Center purchased a plot of land and the building projects have come along way since last year. The funds will also go towards completing the roof and the finishing on the new building.
