“JESUS” Film: Hearing the Gospel in Their Heart Language; People Respond!

Today, still half of the people cannot read, the gospel is not available to them, and/or it is not yet translated in a language they clearly understand. But there is an answer!

The “JESUS” film provides people direct access to the gospel in a form that doesn’t require literacy, and it’s in their heart language—the one they learned as a child. The film is a portrayal of Christ’s life, death and resurrection, taken from the gospel of Luke.

Pastor Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life, says that “the ‘JESUS’ film is the most effective evangelistic tool ever invented.”

With translations in 1,188 languages and counting, God is using the “JESUS” film in the hands of missions groups, churches and people like you. From schools in Russia, to prisons in Central Asia, to refugee camps in East Africa, God’s message of love and forgiveness is being shared. Daily, hundreds of thousands worldwide watch the film in their heart language.

A woman in India wrote to her son in the United States, “Jesus speaks Bengali!”

It’s estimated that every eight seconds one person comes to faith in Christ somewhere in the world as a result of seeing the “JESUS” film.

Yet, there are millions of men, women and children without the “JESUS” film in their heart language.  More than 800 people groups are waiting for their own translation of “JESUS.”

And, that’s where you come in; where you can “stand in the gap.”

Right now your gift of any amount will be matched dollar for dollar toward the funding of a new language translation cost of $38,000. The goal of this project is $19,000.

Please help more people have a chance to see “JESUS.” And, tell your friends so the world can be reached for Christ. Thank you for giving people “JESUS” today, because Seeing is Believing.
